Burmese jadeite is a rare, high-pressure metamorphic gemstone primarily sourced from Myanmar (formerly Burma). It is one of two minerals officially classified as "true" jade.
Burmese jadeite became the "gold standard" for jewellery in the 18th century due to its superior hardness, vibrant colors, and glass-like translucency.

This piece is a Type A Jadeite (Natural): 100% natural and untreated; may only have a surface wax coating for polish. This is the most valuable and sought-after grade.
